This limitation concerns the website; liability for a paid engagement is addressed in that engagement's agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Dispute Resolution — Your Legal Rights
We do not force you into binding arbitration, and we do not ban class actions. You keep your right to bring a matter to court. We simply ask that you first try to resolve it with us informally: email legal@happy-tech.biz and we will respond within 14 days and work in good faith to sort it out. If that doesn't resolve it, either of us may propose non-binding mediation before litigation, with costs split equally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arlington, Virginia.
General
If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Happy Technologies regarding this website.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
