Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

Grounded in the same documentation we publish for engineering and legal review.

What data leaves the security boundary?

The only customer-content egress at runtime is inference to the customer-selected LLM provider (BYOK, bring-your-own-key). Nothing ships customer artifacts to any third-party model-training sink. Embeddings run on the in-infra model by default, so text does not leave the boundary for vectorization.

Is my data used for AI training?

No. Per DPA Section 2.5, your data is not used to train any third-party model.

How do I export my data?

Self-serve, in-product: GET /v1/export/account. The export is customer-initiated and authenticated.

How do I delete my account or data?

Email privacy@happy-tech.biz with your deletion request; we handle it as a data subject request under the DPA.

What attestations do you hold?

None today: no SOC 2, FedRAMP, HITRUST, ISO 27001, or HIPAA BAA. See the Trust & security page for the full, honest posture and roadmap.

Where is my data hosted?

Happy-hosted: AWS, us-east-1, in a dedicated instance. BYOC (bring-your-own-cloud): the instance runs in your own cloud account, and providers you bring are yours, not our subprocessors. See the Subprocessors page.

Is there an SLA on the beta?

No. Beta, Early Access, Preview, and Free tiers carry no uptime, availability, response-time, or support commitments. See the Beta Services Addendum for the full terms.
